Milton Bradley School will deliver the core instruction with fidelity; provide standard-based instruction along with targeted interventions aimed at the students deficit sub-skill for growth towards proficiency for all students.

We are eager to build a partnership with families and all stake holders to ensure that all students achieve academic success and skills that prepare them for college and career readiness. The Instructional Focus and best practices allows for targeted professional development in authentic literacy across all content areas.

Students will improve comprehension skills and written expression. The goal is to become experts at teaching and modeling close reading (reading for a purpose), writing to defend a position and accountable talk/meaningful discussions to defend a position.

Collaborative teams will look at student work and data to inform their next steps in instruction. As we continue to work on delivering the core with fidelity, we will identify and provide interventions for students below proficiency in order to gain catch-up growth.
